Best Notification Settings for Your Android Device

Enable Push Notifications on Android Phone

When you first install EIQ connect, you are prompted to allow the app to send you Push notifications. If you previously skipped this step, you can re-enable it by following these simple steps in your Android.

  1. Tap the Settings app on your device. Tap Apps and notifications.
  2. Tap Notifications.
  3. Tap App Notifications.
  4. Scroll to and tap the EIQ connect app.
  5. Tap Allow Notifications to enable push notifications for EIQ connect.
  6. Tap Allow Notification Dot to enable a numbered badge to appear on the EIQ connect app icon on your home screen indicating unread notifications.

Pro Tip: On an Android phone, You can turn it off by unlocking your phone, swiping from top right to down to see the control center and tapping Do Not Disturb if it is enabled.

 

 

Turn the Volume Up on Android Phone

On an Android device, go to Settings > Sound & Vibration and make sure Notification Volume is turned up.
